This term the social subjects have been involved in many activities, showing the wide range of opportunities that these subjects offer to pupils throughout their time at Knox Academy. The vast range of interdisciplinary learning and skills that pupils acquire within these subjects is invaluable to their progress within school and in the future. Here are a list of some of the exciting trips and projects pupils have been working on within the social subjects leading up to Christmas.

The Knox Maths Department has a number of opportunities for your child to make sure they are well prepared for their National 5 and Higher Maths Exams. In addition to a number of revision sessions during lunchtime and after school (a timetable can be found on our Website), the RevisionHUB (www.knox.is/revisionhub) is our dedicated place for pupils to find practice on specific topics. It includes worksheets, answers, video tutorials and quizzes.

We have also decided to run, for the first time, revision sessions on a Friday after school from 1245 - 1415. The 5 sessions will be approximately six weeks apart and the dates and we ran a very successful first session recently based on three topic areas decided by pupils: "Arcs and Sectors...
