We thought we would update you with a few photos of our expedition so far!

Firstly, we have a basic team photo where Rab the Lad is giving us an inspirational speech, that went on.. And on.. And on! (As per)

Next, we have the team climbing down the neverending steps from the top of the Giant Buddha to the bottom which were rather narrow but everyone managed to squeeze down them.

One of the panda's followed, not much to say really other than that they enjoyed eating in a strangely human-like way!

Finally some of the boys (and girls) paid a little extra in order to light incense in order to bless their familes and friends with wealth and success, it was a good way to get a feel of the different culture!

Thank you so much to everyone for their support with the Unicef fundraising on Tuesday (Sports Day).

In total we raised £562 which is brilliant. £190 of this will go to One to support water projects in Africa and the rest (£372) will go to Unicef.

Haddington Library is looking for volunteers to assist with the running of a Games Afternoon, 2-4pm Wednesday, during the holidays. Volunteers will assist with the younger participants on digital games which are associated with the summer reading challenge and also play board games with those who do not want to take part with online games. This is a good opportunity to participate in a community event which you can add to CVs/UCAS applications. Please contact Haddington Library staff for details.
