EDF Energy will soon begin the recruitment process for new Apprentices.  Recruitment will run from 1st October 2018 to 6th January 2019.

The apprenticeship is a 4 year scheme; 2 years are carried out at the National College for Nuclear at Bridgewater and Taunton College, with the summer holidays being based on site. As well as getting paid to learn, all accommodation and meals will be provided while studying at the National College, as well as flights home on designated leave periods.

The final 2 years of the Apprenticeship Scheme will be fully site based, with the option to go on to study an HNC.

Torness will be holding two information days for applicants on Sunday 4th November and Saturday 1st December. There will be four sessions on each day; 9:30, 11:00, 13:00 and 14:30.
