Modern Apprentice - Business Administration - Human Resources & Payroll

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Modern Apprenticeship within the Council’s Human Resources division.

You will provide administrative support to staff within Human Resources. With good interpersonal skills, you will be flexible, confident and a team player. Training in the use of specialist software packages will be provided, however a basic knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office packages is desirable. There will be on-going support from an external training provider to achieve the SVQ Level 3 in Business Administration. 

You must provide evidence of competency in Literacy and Numeracy skills (minimum of three Standard Grades level 3 passes or National 4's including English and Mathematics).

A minimum of SVQ1/Standard Grade General level English/Maths or National 4 English/Maths or Literacy/Numeracy or Intermediate 1 Communication/Numeracy and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.
