RWANDA UPDATE - FEBRUARY 2014

In October 2013, I set the pupils and staff of Knox Academy a challenge to collect as many filled pencil cases as possible which I would then take to our partner school in Rwanda. The pupils and staff rose to the challenge and as a school we donated 300 pencil cases to the Ruhanga School. We also donated PE kit and many other classroom resources. In addition, we contributed to the £2000 raised to help fund some of the poorest children allowing them to continue their education and buy sports equipment and cultural resources for the school.

Many thanks to everyone for your support and generosity.

The video below was shown to pupils this past week at assemblies.
