National Library of Scotland are looking to fill the following posts in their Digitisation Team. Selection process will run in August/September and start dates will extend from September to October.
· There will be six jobs in total – all full-time and fixed term (2 years).
· The salary for the jobs will be £18,830 (Pay Point B).
· The hours will be 37 per week. There will be an early team and a late team, hours will be 7am-3pm (early), and 1pm-9pm (late). We will ask candidates for their early/late preferences through the recruitment process.
· The location will be our Causewayside Building, 159 Causewayside, Edinburgh, EH9 1PH.
· We expect successful candidates to start work with us in September or October.

Selection Process
We intend to run an “assessment centre” rather than traditional interviews for these posts. The assessment centre is a series of activities (including a short interview) to let us gain a better idea of you as a person and to see how suitable you are for the job. It will also help you show us what you are capable of and how much potential you can bring to the post. Assessment centres last a bit longer than interviews but they do present a much better opportunity for us to really get to know you as a potential employee – and for you to get to know us. More details will be available nearer the time.
