Pupils sitting fewer than three National 5 exams this session, will have the majority of their courses at National 4 Level.  This means they are likely to have assignments and added-value units to complete.  On that basis, they are not entitled to full exam leave.  They are entitled to the day off before an exam, and the day of the exam itself, but would otherwise be expected to come into school as per the programme below:

• May 2-6: Exam leave for all S4 pupils
• May 9-13: Pupils come into school to complete assignments, added-value units etc
• May 16: Retail experience
• May 17-20: Pupils come into school to complete assignments, added-value units etc
• May 23-27: Participate in John Muir Award programme and achieve award or complete assignments, added-value units etc
• May 30 - June 3: Exam leave for all S4 pupils

Pupils were issued previously with a letter detailing  this. Could you please return the tear-off slip acknowledging receipt and letting us know whether your child would like to participate in the John Muir award.  I would be grateful if all returns could be made by Tuesday 26 April 2016.
